Republican presidential candidate and Ohio Gov. John Kasich reasonably expanded Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act to give low-income Ohioans access to healthcare. The GOP Establishment turned on Kasich and doubled down on its healthcare plan of “don’t get sick, and die quickly if you do.”
