Mitt Romney was never a very strong candidate, he just happened to be the least crazy choice that the GOP offered voters during the primaries. Because of his weakness, his campaign has struggled since day 1. And when the top of the ticket is in trouble, it means that all of the other Republicans on the ballot this November are also in danger of losing their elections. But the Republican Party isn’t going to give up easily, so they’ve now come up with a plan to enlist the help of the Religious Right’s poster child Ralph Reed – a man who they believe can rally the Republican base.
