Chris Matthews, apparently, just cannot fathom why Bernie Sanders is a popular candidate. In a discussion with the chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) about Bernie Sanders, Matthews seemed appalled at the thought of letting Bernie Sanders speak during prime time. He also didn’t seem to be able to get his head around why it doesn’t matter that Bernie Sanders is a “socialist,” at least not in a negative way as he insinuates.
