While adrenaline from yesterday’s election is still running high among progressives, the battle is far from over.  The nation rejected Mitt Romney, but has still yet to fully embrace Barack Obama, largely due to his over-zealous attempts at compromise.  During a second term, the bar needs to be set higher for the president, and its time we see some Wall Street prosecutions, campaign finance issues fixed, marriage equality on a national level, and many other important issues that the president avoided in his first time.  Unless Obama gets busy, we have nothing about yesterday’s election to celebrate.
