It looks like Chris Matthews is trying his hardest to sow the seeds of discontent and infighting in the Democratic party. He will not give up on the idea that there is a problem with Bernie Sanders claiming himself a Democratic Socialist. In Chris Matthews’ worldview, a Democratic Socialist is someone who wants to see the government run the markets, rather than someone that is for government intervention when the markets go astray.
