Jonathan Pitre suffers from a rare and extremely painful condition called Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB). The condition causes painful blisters to form all over his body. Yet, despite it all, Jonathan keeps such a positive attitude; he is truly a wonder to behold.

“Helping people is just being human. Again, it’s not only me that feels good, the other people I’m helping will also feel this way. With all of our efforts, I am hoping that one day we will be able to make our world. . . a world free of pain.”

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) carries with it a shorter life expectancy. Jonathan has expressed that his life expectancy is around 25 years.

“My wish is to achieve my dream and life goal – which is to make living life with Epidermolysis Bullosa an easier task,” Jonathan has said. “I am determined to win this war against EB, I will never give into the pain.”
