In response to the Black Lives Matter movement, and a growing distaste for the hatred that seems to flow from it, two police officers from Texas posted a picture on Twitter with the text “His Life Matters.”

Originally posted in May, it wasn’t until this week that the post went viral, now having been shared by more than 115,000 people.

Their message is that it doesn’t matter what color your skin is, all lives matter.

“There’s a lot of hate going on right now — there’s a lot of hate going on in our nation,” Givens said to CBS News. “We’re tired of all the hate.”

Other police departments are joining the trend and sharing similar images as well.
