It’s never too early to start the fake “War on Christmas” reels. Fox’s Elisabeth Hasselback is already crying foul over a request to remove a nativity scene from public property in the town of Belen, New Mexico.
The Mayor, Jerah Cordova, of Belen told Hasselback that he was angry when he received the written request to remove the nativity scene.
“Our town was named Belen for a reason,” said Cordova, “because our founders wanted it to be named after Bethlehem and of course, what happened in Bethlehem was the birth of Christ, which is something we’ve expressed since our founding.”
