Semaj Rock, an 18-year-old black teen from Rochester, New York, published a video on YouTube pleading with America’s black youth to stop the violence. Rock recorded the video early Thursday morning after hearing the news of a recent drive-by shooting that took the life of three individuals and injured four.
“Rochester is just dying,” said Rock “I don’t understand how the black youth don’t understand. What will it take to show y’all to go get an education, to stay off the streets?”
