Rod Parsley, a televangelist, preaches that by giving money you will reap blessings and healing. These are the same kind of pastors who argue that they need their congregation to donate so that they can buy private jets to ‘enhance their service’ to God.
During a recent edition of his show Breakthrough, Parsley told a story of a woman who gave money and had her unborn child was miraculously cured of tumors:
She did that as an act of her faith. She said, “I’m going to this meeting tonight…there’s a man of God there, and with a word from God in his mouth whatever he says I’m going to do it. I’m going to release my faith in it…and God’s going to give a miracle.
