Presidential candidate Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI) took lots of heat and criticism, even from his own party, for saying there needs to be a wall along the U.S.-Canada border. It was an obvious attempt to steal Trump’s “big wall” idea. In the wake of this criticism, Walker has downplayed his insane idea by saying it was just a joke.
“This is just a joke in terms of how people react to things,” Walker said. “I’ve said for some time that we need to secure the southern border. I’ve talked about the infrastructure, the personnel and the technology needed there. I’ve talked about enforcing the laws.”
“I’ve never talked about a wall at the north, I’m certainly not now,” Walker added. “That’s just what happens when things get run amok.”
On the day of Walker’s initial comments, he said a wall in the north was a “legitimate issue.”
Walker is an idiot, and even in his own state of Wisconsin the citizens prefer President Obama over Walker.
