Kentucky has seen its share of ignorance and conservative craziness over the past several years, but county clerk Kim Davis has brought the lunacy to a new (and illegal) level. After refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples in her office, Davis was sent to jail for violating a federal court order. And now, after being released, some of the bottom of the barrel GOP candidates are clinging to her leg like lost toddlers.
