Donald Trump said on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday that if his poll numbers fall, he will quit the campaign and return to being a businessman.
“Number one – I’m not a masochist,” said Trump. “And if I was dropping in the polls where I thought I wasn’t gonna win, why would I continue?”
“I’m doing great in the polls,” said Trump. “If I were doing poorly, if I saw myself going down, if you would stop calling me because you no longer had any interest in Trump because he was doing so poorly, I’d go back to my business. I have no problem with that.”
