The Republican presidential hopeful is trying to spin the organization’s decision to no longer accept reimbursement for the cost of fetal tissue donation as an admission that they did something wrong. His willful misrepresentation in no way reflects the truth of Planned Parenthood’s actions.
Planned Parenthood, while announcing its decision to no longer accept reimbursement for fetal tissue donation, made it clear that its decision was guided by a desire to eliminate any means its detractors may have to attack the organization. At the same time, the practice of accepting the reimbursements is completely legal.
