Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders commented on Larry David’s brilliant SNL impersonation of him and joked that David should start doing his speeches.
“In terms of Larry David, I think we’re going to put him up on the stage at our next rally – let him do it rather than me,” joked Sanders. “He does it better than I do.” He also responded to David’s joke about Sanders only owning one pair of underwear.
“Last week, I bought my second pair of underwear,” he said. “Please don’t write it down. That was a joke. I have an ample supply of underwear.”
