Jeb Bush is denying allegations that he saw a memo that was leaked last week that outlined research against Senator Marco Rubio.
During an interview with Meet the Press, Bush said that he had never seen the memo.
“I didn’t see it. I didn’t see it,” said Bush. “I don’t know.”
Host Chuck Todd questioned Bush about whether it was the sort of work his campaign staff should be expending its efforts on.
“I want them to focus on winning New Hampshire, winning South Carolina, winning Iowa, winning Nevada. That’s our first mission,” said Bush. “I want to unify the party and I’m focused on that, I’m focused on winning the primary and it’s got to be about me first and foremost.”
