Ben Carson wants for us to believe that he is a street-hardened, self-made man that he’s willing to stop at almost nothing to prove he’s got cred. Now, Carson is claiming, in a delightful bit of insanity, that the media is being unfair as it uncovers details about his past. Carson whines that he never saw this level of scrutiny on a Democratic candidate like Barack Obama.
Trevor Noah is quick to point out how wrong Carson is with his claims that he is being unfairly scrutinized. Noah points out that everything about Obama came into question and Carson really must not have been paying attention.
“Yeah, so they vetted Obama to the point where they questioned whether he was a legitimate natural-born American citizen,” said Noah. “But at least no one ever accused Obama of not stabbing a guy.”
