One of the Palin offspring is adding her two cents to the “controversy” regarding Starbucks’ Christmas cup design. According to Bristol Palin, the entire Starbucks coffee cup design issue is just “an attempt by the LEFT to make Christians look stupid.” The circle is complete, Christians have created a controversy in which they view themselves as the victims and within mere hours are already blaming someone else for it.
Bristol explained her position on her blog, saying that by listening to one ‘rogue’ Christian on the internet, the media is trying to perpetuate a narrative of Christian idiocy.
“And the media RAN with it,” wrote Palin. “They used one small group’s opinion about the cups and began attributing it to the greater Christian community.”
“The mainstream media and the Left love their outrage machine where they claim the world is ending because any number of tiny people have expressed hurt feelings on social media. So now, they’re taking a tiny fraction of people’s responses and attributing it to all conservative Christians,” said Palin.
“Do not buy in to the media hype surrounding this story!! It is just another attempt by the LEFT to make Christians look stupid,” she wrote.
Don’t worry Bristol, you really don’t need the media’s help to look stupid.
