Republican Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz is being accused of lying or at least flipflopping on his policy regarding amnesty after a clash with Marco Rubio during the GOP debate left Cruz firmly on the anti-immigration side of the party. In this Fox News interview, Cruz is questioned about his previous stance in supporting the Gang of Eight bill. Clips show Cruz repeatedly stating that with the amendment to the bill he was proposing, he was confident that the bill would pass.

“The fact that I introduced an amendment to remove part of the Gang of Eight bill doesn’t mean I support the rest of the Gang of Eight bill.”

Cruz appeared to get extremely flustered when faced with this conflict, and he barely managed to spit out a retort.
