Ricky Gervais, the cheeky British actor who specializes in telling off-color jokes and cackling wildly made sure to make room for “future president” Donald Trump in his opening monologue on Sunday night.
Gervais went to introduce two latina actresses with this quip:
“Eva Longoria and America Ferrera aren’t just beautiful, talented actresses. They’re also two people who your future president, Donald Trump, can’t wait to deport.”
For the level of “oooh” we expect from Gervais, this was pretty mild, but we’ll take what we can get.
