While the GOP bemoans the fact that Syrian Refugees and American Muslim citizens were invited to attend the State of the Union, there is one attendee much more deserving of the critical eye: Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis.

Davis, who The Huffington Post reported clapped a total of four times during the long speech, was woefully under-dressed for the event, wearing her signature worst-librarian-ever stare and tortuously over-plucked eyebrows. When asked what she thought of the speech afterwards she replied,

“It was a speech.”

Yes, Kim; very good!

Interestingly enough, the GOP rep who invited Davis did not do so out of some politically motivated agenda; In fact, he didn’t really invite her at all.

Jim Jordan, Ohio State Representative and chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, initially told reporters that he didn’t invite anyone to the address. Rather, it was his office which gave the ticket to the Family Research Council at the request of the family of Kim Davis. Jordan, who learned about all of this far after the ticket was given to Davis, said he was ultimately okay with the decision.

“I found out today, and I’m being totally honest with you: That’s — Family Research Council asked us, her family wanted a ticket, and we said ‘OK.'”

Once again, Kim Davis weaseled her way into an important event. This woman sure is good at accomplishing everything besides carrying out the actual duties of her job.

At least we can all rest assured that Kim Davis did not like what she heard from the President, not one bit.
