Stephen Colbert, along with almost every other comedian in America, greeted the news of Sarah Palin’s endorsement of presidential candidate Donald Trump with total and complete glee for the return of the “original material girl.” Sure, Trump was a comedy goldmine, but no one does stupid like the original maverick Palin!

When Palin threw out some of her signature zingers, Colbert pulled out a lighter and began rapid-fire shouting out the Palin catchphrases of old:

“Whooo! ‘Drill, baby, drill!’ ‘Hope-y change-y,’ ‘change-y hope-y!’ Do ‘lamestream media!’ Do ‘lipstick on a pitbull!’ Say ‘Hockey Mom,’ please!”

While the rest of us bemoan the reemergence of this empty-headed politician, at least the comedians will have an easy next few months.
