During a recent episode of “Real Time With Bill Maher,” host Maher pointed to a clip of Chuck Todd responding to the most recent Twitter feud between Trump and Cruz as Todd acted incredulously and questioned how could things have gotten as bad as they are.
Maher quickly pointed out that of course, it was this sort of media coverage from MSNBC and others which created this race to the bottom mess. And what was most to blame? Money, of course.
“They say we’ve gotta get the money outta politics? We’ve gotta get the money out of news business.”
