“The Daily Show” host, Trevor Noah, brought on controversial congresswoman and chairperson of the DNC, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, to discuss the election and allegations that the party is purposefully stacking the deck against candidate Bernie Sanders.

Of course, Wasserman Schultz denied any sort of purposeful obstruction when Noah asked if the DNC were “cockblocking” Sanders. She turned again and again to the GOP race, emphasizing their mess of a race in order to make the corruption occurring in the Democratic party seem harmless and a welcome relief.

Wasserman Schultz also answered to the issue of Superdelegates which have come up frequently in this race. As she has previously, Wasserman Schultz emphasized that Superdelegates would be a welcome crutch for the Republican party in the face of Donald Trump. Not necessarily the most comforting statement coming from a party head.
