During this week’s “Full Frontal,” host Samantha Bee discovered that it was a hell of a lot easier for an individual to buy a gun than it was to gain access to the NRA’s own mascot Eddie the Eagle.
It was such an absurd story that Bee had to assure her audience ahead of time, “I swear to God, this story is 100 percent true.”
The first step in obtaining your very own Eddie Eagle mascot costume? An 18 page manual of rules and regulations with over 30 rules which included “Eddie doesn’t drink or smoke alcohol” and “Eddie is always clothed.”
