During a segment on The Young Turks on Wednesday, they focused on one particular clip from “Hardball” host Chris Matthew who lost his cool in reference to a political ad from Bernie Sanders which mentioned “politicians” taking massive speaking fees while also opposing a $15 dollar minimum wage.
Matthews appeared incredibly offended that his golden candidate Hillary Clinton was under attack, though she was unnamed. Matthews’ full-throated defense of Clinton and the system which enables her reveals how entitled he and others like him feel to a system which benefits them with little effort.
TYT host Cenk Uygur argues that it is entitlement, rather than malice, that leads to Matthews’ outburst, but I’m not so sure.
