What is this feeling I am feeling? It feels like, but no, it can’t be. . . I am agreeing with Donald Trump?
Apparently, presidential candidate and resident bigot Donald Trump actually came out publicly against recent laws passed in North Carolina and Tennessee which say that people must use the restroom which corresponds to their biological sex, forcing trans individuals in uncomfortable and dangerous situations.
Trump was asked if he would allow Caitlyn Jenner into a woman’s restroom in Trump tower, to which Trump replied in the affirmative. Trump went further to say that creating a separate restroom only for trans individuals in his mind would be discriminatory.
In a nation which often treats Trans individuals as if they have no rights or claim to discrimination, it is more than jarring to hear the most extreme presidential candidate embrace the right side of history for once.
Anyone want to put money down on when he will reverse his position?
