For Donald Trump, this past week has been all about deadly weapons. Starting with his endorsement from the NRA to his comments on gun free zones and guns in schools, the Donald made his pitch to the so-called “gun clingers” of America.
The only issue was that Trump couldn’t quite make up his mind about where he stood in the gun debate. Trump may have said the magic words when he declared that Clinton would take away all guns and the Second Amendment, but later he flopped helplessly over guns in schools.
On Sunday’s “Fox and Friends,” Trump had this conflicting idea about guns and schools:
“I don’t want to have guns in classrooms. Although, in some cases, teachers should have guns in classrooms. I’m not advocating guns in classrooms. In some cases — and a lot of people have made this case — teachers should be able to have guns, trained teachers should be able to have guns in classrooms.”
