Since the end of Marco Rubio’s campaign, we have heard little from the guy who at one point featured a special line of #NeverTrump merchandise on his campaign website.
But this weekend, Rubio made a rare appearance for an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper where he admitted that he apologized to Donald Trump privately for his “small hands” comment made near the end of his campaign.
Rubio admitted that he regretted the comment, saying that he was desperate at that point for anything that would work against the seemingly indestructible Trump.
Now, Rubio seems to be wavering and has put his tentative support behind the man he once said was unelectable. In one of the last establishment dominoes to fall, Rubio has given up and given in. So sad.
