What does a respectable news network do when they hear that Donald Trump’s right-hand, journalist-assaulting staffer has been fired?
Well they sure as hell don’t offer him a paid position on their channel!
And yet that’s exactly what CNN has just done by offering Corey Lewandowski a paid position as a political commentator despite his less than friendly history with the press.
Lewandowski was finally given the boot this week from the Trump campaign, allegedly due to irreconcilable differences between himself and the Trump children.
Trump had previously vowed to stand by Lewandowski’s side even when he physically assaulted a Breitbart reporter. Though Lewandowski was ultimately not found guilty of any crimes, the video of his less than friendly rapport with the press was clear for all to see.
It is not unusual for networks like CNN to hire on former staffers in order to diversify their lineup, but with Lewandowski’s particular crimes, what does CNN think they will gain by bringing on-board this Trump-devoted, violently unhinged man?
Is that the image they want to portray?
If so, we will do our best to express our displeasure and wonder how corporate media could have gone so wrong.
