Republican John Kasich is one of the few Republicans who will emerge from this election with their head held high, and for good reason.

Kasich was one of a small handful of establishment leadership who unilaterally refused to back Donald Trump at any point in the election. This means that he is still one of the few whose opinions can be considered at least somewhat valuable.

Speaking on CBS This Morning, Kasich tore Trump’s rigged election theory apart, going so far as to claim that believing Trump is losing because the election is rigged is akin to believing that the United States has never been to the moon – it’s insane and it’s dangerous.

“Look, to say that elections are rigged, and that all these votes are stolen, that’s like saying we never landed on the moon. That’s how silly it is… I don’t think that’s good for our country and our democracy, and I don’t believe we have any massive fraud.”
