Civil rights groups and legal experts are alarmed by the rise of the use of facial recognition technology by the FBI and police around the country. As nearly one in four Americans are put in facial recognition databases, what does it mean for privacy and criminal justice? The ‘Georgetown Law Center for Technology and Privacy’ published a report this week entitled, “The Perpetual Line Up” that finds this technology troubling in a variety of ways. Correspondent Naomi Karavani gives her report.
