Republican North Carolina Senator Richard Burr is under fire this week for making jokes about the assassination of Hillary Clinton at a recent GOP event in his home state. But he said something else at that same event that is getting far less attention – even though it’s just as outrageous. Like Ted Cruz and John McCain – Burr said that if Hillary Clinton were elected president he would do everything possible to prevent her from filling the opening on the Supreme Court left by the death of Antonin Scalia earlier this year. Isn’t this worse than obstructionist – isn’t it seditious?
