Two hackers have made a tool that allows them to hijack, they believe, any late-model Chrysler vehicle with a head unit running UConnect software. The attack allows anyone using it to take over steering, brakes, kill the engine, and a variety of other controls. After seeing the video below, it’s obvious that the car is completely removed from the driver’s control.

Currently, they have only tested the hack in a Jeep Cherokee, but the exploit attacks the UConnect software, which runs on many models of Chrysler vehicles. The exploit has even gotten the attention of Congress.

Watch.
