Wayne Simmons, a former “expert” on terrorism for Fox News, has been deemed a “significant danger to the community” according to a spokesperson from the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Simmons has been indicted for federal fraud stemming from claims he made that he was part of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) from 1973 to 2000.
According to the Washington Post Simmons faces 11 charges of drinking and driving and additional charges for assault, gambling, and possessing a firearm as a felon.
Simmons appeared multiple times on Fox News and on his website describes himself as a “Terrorism Analyst” and a consultant to the Bush administration.
