With Texas’ new ever-relaxing gun laws taking effect across the state, a column in a Texas newspaper made a humorous yet startling observation.

That’s right; due to the relaxed laws, it is now more time-efficient for an individual to open carry when going to the Capitol building than it is to not carry around a lethal weapon 24/7.

Why the state thinks it is wise to allow guns in governmental buildings is unthinkable, but it sounds like if you’re in a hurry in Texas, you might as well strap on your shotgun to get through those pesky lines.
