When it comes to having some pretty idiotic opinions, Fox News Andrea Tantaros is usually at the top of the list. That’s why it comes as no surprise that during a recent segment on the necessity of math classes for students, Tantaros was strongly in favor of cutting classes like algebra out of the curriculum entirely.

“I whole-heartedly agree with this professor. I struggled. I had honors English, but in math I needed a little bit of help… I said, ‘Please could I drop out.’ But I actually took Algebra I twice and barely passed Algebra II.”

Sure, many of us who aren’t analytically-minded struggled with advanced math concepts, but we struggle through it and recognize it as a necessary evil. And as a result, Americans (mostly) have a basic understanding of valuable mathematical concepts vital to daily life.

It’s pretty funny that the same pundit who would destroy liberals for trying to lower standards for students anywhere is totally in favor of those standards lowering when it benefits her!
