According to CBS New York, a former New York City corrections officer shot a man in a Brooklyn subway station last night. The man later died of his injuries.
Two men engaged in an altercation that resulted in the 69-year-old gunman firing a shot that struck the other man, who has not been named.
He was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.
