When a demented man like Roger Ailes is given untold amounts of power, money, and influence, it should come as no surprise that the sexual assault allegations are only the tip of the iceberg for the corrupt network and the evil man who ran it.

When Ailes was ousted weeks ago, it was a surprising upheaval of a news network with much to hide. Rather than simply pushing Ailes’ crimes away, Fox News appears to be seeking out the root of their own corruption and investigating further into Ailes’ role.

What they uncovered was more dark than they could have guessed: For decades, Ailes has used massive chunks of Fox News profit to pay millions in settlements to women he assaulted, as well as paying for private investigators to look into the lives of disgruntled Fox employees and journalists who got a bit too inquisitive.

Fox executives said that no one asked any questions, and if they did, Ailes had no intention of answering. It is clear that Ailes was given complete free reign to do – and spend – as he pleased.

Investigators have only just begun diving down the Roger Ailes rabbit hole, and there’s no telling where the corruption will end. Maybe with criminal charges and prison? We’ll try not to get our hopes up.
